Every Kaiya Baby product begins with a single question: what would we want touching our own baby's skin? From material sourcing to the final seam, this question shapes every decision we make.

Thoughtful Materials for Safer Sleep

Our sleep sacks are crafted with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton on the outer shell, grown from non-genetically modified seeds without chemicals or pesticides, and processed through nontoxic methods at every stage.

The filling blend of 30% natural camel wool and 70% SORONA® polyester adds warmth that feels balanced rather than heavy, with softness that holds up through regular washing.

For our ClimaCuddle® series, we developed a specialized blend of 50.8% bamboo rayon and 49.2% merino wool.

Merino wool responds to shifts in body temperature, while bamboo rayon wicks moisture away from the skin and dries twice as fast as standard cotton, with 30% greater breathability. 

For babies still developing their ability to regulate body temperature, this combination makes a genuine difference.

What Certification Labels on Baby Sleepwear Mean?

Our GOTS certification covers the full journey of our organic cotton, from cultivation to processing, addressing material safety, environmental responsibility, and fair labor practices throughout the supply chain.

Our ClimaCuddle® lineup is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified through SGS, and our other sleep sacks are SGS-certified as well.

Across our sleep range, every product is verified free from lead, phthalates, and formaldehyde, and maintains a skin-friendly pH suitable for sensitive skin.

Each product also undergoes structured testing for seam strength, dimensional stability, shrinkage, pilling resistance, and color fastness. 

Edges, trims, and sizing are assessed against suffocation hazard guidelines to ensure a consistent standard of physical safety. 

Choosing the right size of sleep sacks is an important part of that safety in practice. A sleep sack that fits correctly at the neck and arm openings should feel snug without being restrictive, and we always recommend selecting based on your baby's current height and weight rather than sizing up for later.

Designed for Real Family Life

Safety means little if a product is difficult to use day to day. Our fabrics are chosen for how they perform across months of regular use, through growth spurts, changing seasons, and frequent washing.

Construction details, from zipper designs to neck and shoulder fit, are considered with the same care as the materials themselves. 

As with all baby sleepwear, our products should be kept away from open flames and other heat sources. 

Natural fibers like organic cotton and camel wool offer genuine comfort and breathability, but no fabric is inherently fireproof. Maintaining a sleep environment free from candles, portable heaters, and similar hazards is one of the most important habits a family can build.

Packaging That Reflects the Same Values

We extend the same care we put into our products to our packaging. Where applicable, our packaging uses FSC-certified materials, supporting responsible sourcing of forest-based materials through verified chain-of-custody controls across the supply chain. 

It is a deliberate choice, because a commitment to sustainability should not stop at the product itself.

A Return and Exchange Policy Built on Trust

We want every family to feel confident in their purchase. If something is not right, whether that is the size, the fit, or simply a change of mind, we offer a full refund within 45 days of purchase on any unwashed, unaltered item in its original condition.

There is no complicated process. Just reach out to our customer service team, and we will take care of the rest.

According to our return and exchange policy, customers are responsible for return shipping costs when a return is made for personal reasons. If we sent the wrong item, we will cover the return shipping.
