Thoughtful Materials for Safer Sleep
Our sleep sacks are crafted with 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton on the outer shell, grown from non-genetically modified seeds without chemicals or pesticides, and processed through nontoxic methods at every stage.
The filling blend of 30% natural camel wool and 70% SORONA® polyester adds warmth that feels balanced rather than heavy, with softness that holds up through regular washing.
For our ClimaCuddle® series, we developed a specialized blend of 50.8% bamboo rayon and 49.2% merino wool.
Merino wool responds to shifts in body temperature, while bamboo rayon wicks moisture away from the skin and dries twice as fast as standard cotton, with 30% greater breathability.
For babies still developing their ability to regulate body temperature, this combination makes a genuine difference.
What Do These Certifications Actually Mean?
Kaiya Baby is a GOTS certified company. Our licence number is 00322723, issued by ECOCERT Greenlife S.A.S. under GOTS Version 7.0 and valid through 21 May 2027, covering babies' apparel.
Our organic cotton is certified at every stage before it reaches us, from cultivation through spinning, weaving and dyeing, by GOTS certified partners across our supply chain. GOTS addresses material safety, environmental responsibility, and fair labor practices at each of those stages.
Our ClimaCuddle® lineup is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified. Our sleep sacks are tested by accredited third-party laboratories against US CPSIA requirements, including 16 CFR Part 1615 and 1616 for children's sleepwear flammability, and are covered by a Children's Product Certificate. Products sold in the EU and UK are tested to EN 16781, EN 14878 and EN 14682.
Across our sleep range, every product is verified free from lead, phthalates, and formaldehyde and maintains a skin-friendly pH suitable for sensitive skin.
Each product also undergoes structured testing for seam strength, dimensional stability, shrinkage, pilling resistance, and color fastness. Edges, trims, and sizing are assessed against suffocation hazard guidelines to ensure a consistent standard of physical safety.
Choosing the right size of sleep sacks is an important part of that safety in practice. A sleep sack that fits correctly at the neck and arm openings should feel snug without being restrictive, and we always recommend selecting based on your baby's current height and weight rather than sizing up for later.

Safety means little if a product is difficult to use day to day. Our fabrics are chosen for how they perform across months of regular use, through growth spurts, changing seasons, and frequent washing.
Construction details, from zipper designs to neck and shoulder fit, are considered with the same care as the materials themselves.
As with all baby sleepwear, our products should be kept away from open flames and other heat sources.
Natural fibers like organic cotton and camel wool offer genuine comfort and breathability, but no fabric is inherently fireproof. Maintaining a sleep environment free from candles, portable heaters, and similar hazards is one of the most important habits a family can build.

According to our return and exchange policy, customers are responsible for return shipping costs when a return is made for personal reasons. If we sent the wrong item, we will cover the return shipping.

Delivered Orders Policy
Once an order is marked as Delivered by the carrier and supported by delivery confirmation (including GPS records, or proof of delivery photos), the shipment is considered successfully fulfilled.
If you are unable to locate your package, we recommend that you:

Contact the carrier directly for additional delivery details.
Please note that we are not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. Therefore, orders with valid proof of delivery are generally not eligible for a refund or free replacement.
If you believe your package was misdelivered, please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery notification. We will work with the carrier to investigate the issue. Any replacement or refund will be considered only if the carrier confirms that the package was incorrectly delivered or lost due to carrier error.

What TOG do you need?
TOG is a rating system that measures warmth and calculates how quickly a fabric uses heat. It is the standard when choosing the appropriate sleeping bag for your baby, depending on the ambient temperature in your nursery. We recommend a heavier TOG during cooler months and a lighter one during warmer months.
